Indications
A broad-spectrum antibiotic used for the treatment of bacterial diseases in poultry such as intestinal necrosis, septicaemia and infections caused by Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria such as E. coli, Salmonella, Haemophilus, Brucella, Pasteurella, streptococci, staphylococci and Klebsiella, and for the treatment of pulmonary infections, dysentery and diarrhoea in calves and lambs
Dose and administration
Administration: Orally, after dissolving in the drinking water. Poultry: Prevention: 1 g per 4 L of drinking water for 3–5 days. Treatment: 2 g per 4 L of drinking water for 3–5 days. Calves and lambs: 1 g per 10 kg body weight for 3 days; the dose may be doubled in acute or chronic cases.
