Indications
Cattle: for the treatment of septicaemia and infections of the digestive and urogenital systems and the skin caused by bacteria susceptible to gentamicin. Dogs and cats: infections of the respiratory system, the digestive system, the kidneys, the urinary and reproductive systems, septicaemia, inflammation of the auditory canal.
Dose and administration
Cattle: by intramuscular injection 4–6 mg/1 kg, equivalent to 1 ml per 10–15 kg body weight per day. Twice daily for 3–5 days. Repeated injections must be given at different sites. Dogs and cats: by intramuscular or subcutaneous injection. 0.088 ml/1 kg body weight twice on the first day and then 0.044 ml/1 kg body weight once daily for 5–7 days. Treatment should not be given for longer than 7 to 10 days, or repeated, except in serious infections that do not respond to other products.
