Indications
Given in cases of vitamin E and selenium deficiency, especially in poultry and calves. In large animals: given to increase fertility in males and females, and for myopathy and muscle wasting (white muscle disease). In chickens: in cases of decreased egg production and decreased hatchability in breeders, and encephalomalacia (crazy chick disease), exudative diathesis and muscular dystrophy in chicks and turkeys
