Indications
Used for the prevention of ketosis (pregnancy toxaemia) and ketonaemia, which result from metabolic problems at parturition; it is used as a general tonic and appetite stimulant, and in cases of indigestion in cattle and septicaemia in sheep and goats. Ketosis is an increase in ketones and acetone in the blood and tissues.
Dose and administration
Administration: Orally, after dissolving in the drinking water. Cattle: 100 ml twice on the first day, then 50 ml twice daily for four days. Sheep and goats: 50 ml twice daily for four days.
Follow the withdrawal period and the instructions on the pack and leaflet.
