Indications
It is generally considered an antihistamine and has an antiserotonergic effect; it can be used in cases of food allergy, drug allergy and sunstroke, to relieve irritation of the mucous membranes and to relieve agitation, and it helps to reduce activity and thereby increase feed conversion and weight gain in poultry, calves and lambs
