Treatment of mastitis and its prevention during the dry period

Indications
Used in cattle for the treatment of mastitis in the mammary glands caused by microorganisms susceptible to ampicillin and cloxacillin, and for the prevention of infections that may occur during the period of drying-off and inactivity of the mammary gland before the first parturition.
Dose and administration
Administration: Given by intramammary infusion. The product is given by introducing the contents of one syringe into each quarter immediately after disinfection and disinfection of the teats. It is important, particularly in cattle, not to insert the tip of the nozzle (syringe) into the teat canal. The correct way to apply the product is to place the tip of the nozzle directly in front of the teat orifice after cleaning and disinfecting it, and to deliver the product into the teat canal by pressing the plunger of the syringe. Treatment during the dry period: after the last milking of lactation, the contents of one syringe must be introduced through the teat canal into each quarter of the udder. To prevent summer mastitis: given prophylactically before the first parturition, when there is a risk of "summer mastitis"; the contents of one syringe must be introduced through the teat canal into each quarter of the udder, and the medicine must be given twice every three weeks.
