Indications
A broad-spectrum, bactericidal antibiotic belonging to the second-generation cephalosporin group, used for the treatment of infections affecting the respiratory, digestive, reproductive and urinary systems in poultry flocks (broilers and breeders), such as those caused by E. coli, Clostridium, Haemophilus, Pasteurella, Salmonella and Staphylococcus aureus
Dose and administration
Route of administration: Orally, after dissolving in the drinking water
For treatment: 100 g/200 L of drinking water for 3–5 days. Or as advised by the attending veterinarian.
Withdrawal period
Meat: 10 days. Not to be given to chickens producing eggs intended for human consumption
