Indications
Rafoxanide Power is given for the treatment of liver fluke (Fasciola) infestation in cattle, buffaloes, sheep and goats. It is particularly effective against the immature stages. It is also given for the control of blood-sucking nematodes such as Bunostomum phlebotomum, Oesophagostomum radiatum (adults and fourth-stage larvae), Gaigeria species and Haemonchus species. In various ruminants it is also effective in eliminating the larval stages of nasal bot flies in sheep and goats, such as Oestrus ovis, and in cattle (Hypoderma bovis, Hypoderma lineatum).
Dose and administration
The dose is set by the product leaflet and the veterinarian’s instructions.
