Indications
Used for the treatment of theileriosis in cattle caused by species of Theileria parva (parva), Theileria parva (lawrencei), Theileria mutans, Theileria parva (bovis), Theileria orientalis (sergenti). Biotalex Power is effective against the schizont stage and the piroplasms of Theileria. It can be used during the incubation period of the disease or when the clinical signs of the disease are apparent, and for neighbouring animals that may have been infected but do not yet show clinical signs.
Dose and administration
For deep intramuscular injection only. Cattle: 1 ml/20 kg body weight (2.5 mg/kg body weight) as a single dose. In severe cases an additional dose at the same dosage may be required within 48–72 hours after the first injection.
Follow the withdrawal period and the instructions on the pack and leaflet.
