Indications
This product is considered a broad-spectrum antibacterial, effective against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria (Salmonella, Pasteurella, E. coli, Pseudomonas, Haemophilus and Klebsiella) that infect sheep and calves and cause diarrhoea of bacterial origin and enterotoxaemia. Kaolin and pectin also have an effective role in preventing irritation of the intestinal lining and fluid loss, in reducing intestinal motility and in absorbing bacterial toxins.
Dose and administration
Orally using an oral dosing syringe (after shaking the container well before use). Sheep and young calves: 10 ml per 10 kg body weight twice daily for 3 days. Older calves: 20 ml per 25 kg body weight twice daily for 3 days.
