Indications
This product is considered a broad-spectrum antibacterial, effective against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria (Salmonella, Pasteurella, E. coli, Pseudomonas, Haemophilus and Klebsiella) that infect lambs and calves and cause diarrhoea of bacterial origin and enterotoxaemia. Kaolin also has an effective role in preventing irritation of the intestinal lining and fluid loss, in reducing intestinal motility and in absorbing bacterial toxins.
Dose and administration
Administration: Orally, after dissolving in the drinking water. Sheep and young calves: 10 ml per 10 kg body weight twice daily for 3 days. Older calves: 20 ml per 25 kg body weight twice daily for 3 days.
Follow the withdrawal period and the instructions on the pack and leaflet.
